As some may know PEx is the group manager used on here and in my opinion I think the server should switch over to essentials group manager. Why should the server, you may ask, well let me put it to you in technical terms PEx does have many qualities that essentials group manager does but essentials group manager is way easier to understand and has way more feature than PEx (factions servers are probably the only servers that should use essentials group manager anyways). Now I know that adding perms is basically the same, /mangadd <group> <permission node> & /Pex <group> add <permission node> but essentials works well with many more plugins than PEx (as PEx does not play nice with some plugins). I know this seems hard to make the switch but what you may chose to do is copy/backup all info you need to reamake kits and such. Now I know this is a very longshot but if you guys are willing to do it I hope it makes the server run much, much better! -Nick

Hi peep,
I agree with the fact that it is more compatible, but just like you said, it would already be a pain in the *** to change from one to the other since all peeps who bought ranks or have any king of information stored would loose it. A pretty risky move. However, it is a possibility to do this change in the official release... would take time though

It honestly would take along time to redo all the perms again. He most likely will stay with pex.
