Factions can duel other factions first to 3 or first to 5(2v2s or 3v3s) for points(1 for a win 2 for flawless). The faction with the most points at the end of the month wins a prize. After 6 months the 2 factions with the most wins duel for a bigger prize. A faction can duel a faction twice each month. To prevent players from creating new factions and boosting their friends you MUST sign up on the forums at the beginning of the month. When a faction wins a duel they can post proof on the forum(a video) or they can get a staff member to verify(this only applies if the staff member watched the fight). An alternative is to create a group of trusted players that watch the fights and verify them.
Why?
To encourage pvp and to make the server unquie(I don't know of any servers that do this)
Should players use their own items or should their be kits?
Should McMmo be disabled in the battles?
What should the prizes be?
What players should be able to verify the fights?

+1 Sounds like a cool idea! But 6 Months? That's a lot; I think it should be a month or two max :3 - Nathan 6 months is for the big prize. A smaller prize would be rewarded at the end of each month. |

I like this idea a lot actually, but I agree with pleaselovemeh on 6 months being a bit long.

I think this takes away from pvp at built areas such as the koth and the soon to be fixed /warp pvp. Also 3 on 3 and all is stupid because people just gang 1 guy and it doesn't even work well. I'm the best pvper, I know what I'm saying to be correct.

The duels sounds good and cocky people can lose when they duel another faction and atheanzZ ganging up on one guy is how minecraft pvp is.
