Hey. Here are just a few simple rules that if followed, can make your forum experience efficient, worthwhile, and fun!
1) No Post Farming. This means that you shouldn't post things just for the purpose of gaining more "post count" on your profile. This can lead to various consequences such as forum account suspension and in extreme cases, a forum (IP)ban.
2) No Hacking. This may seem like an obvious rule, but it is a serious one. Hacking or tampering with the forum in any way will lead to an immediate forum ban.
3) No Discrimination/Bullying. No one here likes being singled out for the race/culture/feature/characteristics that they have. Let's prevent that by not discriminating against other.
4) No Racism. This pretty much ties in with the "No Discrimination" Rule. Being discriminatory or making fun of other people due to their race is NOT permitted. If this rule is broken, you may end up being warned, muted, or temporarily suspended.
5) No Obscene/Foul Language. Please try to keep this forum clean of swearing.
6) No Double Posting/Spamming. Double Posting or Spamming is when you post multiple comments on your thread in a row. This may lead to a mute and even a suspension.
7) No Illegal Activity. This is self-explanatory. Just don't do illegal things on this website, or at all.
8) No Inappropriate Links. Please don't posts links to disturbing or inappropriate sites.
9) Do Not Post Personal Information. This rule is for your personal safety. Don't reveal any personal information to strangers online.
10) No Flaming. Please don''t pick fights with others on the forums. Keep this site as PG as possible.
Here are some punishments available for breaking the rules above:
Warning - This is where a public announcement is made that mentions your name and that you have broken a rule. I will determine whether you knew what you were doing was wrong or whether a warning is necessary to explain it do you. If I do not give a warning, I will skip ahead to the next step in the penalty list.
Muting - This is where you are not able to talk on the board. You may still view it.
Temporary Ban - This is where you are not able to view the board for a certain period of time.
Permanent Ban - You can never again view the board.
